Embroidery patches are widely used as decoration or as a sign to show who are those people wearing this garment?
Embroidery patches are sorted into two kinds by the process of embroiderying.
Type 1, Fullly embroidery(100%) on a roll of fabric, then workers cut them into pieces by iron or by laser. Then merrow the boarder and add a iron on glue on the back or add a velcro on the back. Sometime, we don’t need to merrow the boarder for we have embroidery the boarder previously when embrodiery the logo.

A merrowed boarder will show you a breif and clean outlook of the boarder, and it also will add extra cost. When it is a very complex shape design, it will be too hard to merrow the boarder. At this situation, embroidery boarder will be a number one choice.
An embroideried iron cut boarder will have no extra boarder except the embroidred design. skilled workers can cut the embroidered fabric exactly following the shape. If you don’t mind the tolerance space which used for a laser cutting, emboridery boarder with laser cutting will be a cheaper and suitable option.

If you have a complex design with a unregular shape, and you don’t want to have extra things left except the embrodiery, iron cutting is the best option.
And if you want to remove the patches when you don’t want it to be there, make the patches to be with a velcro backing is a suitable option.
But normally we are using iron on backing, for it is very easy to put the iron on patches to garment with a hot iron.
We also supply normal patches without any backing. Clients or end user can easily sew them on.
